Ooh, I’m excited to announce that Matthew Connor is coming back for another adventure! A few months ago, I opened up a contest to my subscribers (another bonus of being on my newsletter is exclusive contests and giveaways) to suggest quests they’d like to see Matthew Connor go on. There were a lot of fantastic suggestions, but I chose Lawrence Wolf’s suggestion of the mythical pirate José Gaspar, nicknamed Gasparilla. He’s celebrated every year in Tampa, Florida, with the next event being in January of 2020.

Anyway, I thought I could have a lot of fun with this legendary buccaneer and have room for a ton of creative license. At the same time—and super important!—it would also give my readers an entertaining and exciting story! Who can say no to a swashbuckling good time?
