The Secret of the Lost Pharaoh

“[The Secret of the Lost Pharaoh] is one of the most entertaining archaeological thrillers I’ve had the pleasure of reading. [It’s] a polished, well-written, stand-alone novel that Indiana Jones fans will love.”

Bronze Award Winner in Adventure

“Carolyn Arnold has written an amazing story, describing everything in detail, giving us a complete picture of Egypt dig sites, heat, desert, underground tombs, mummies, tunnels, snakes, and all kinds of long lost treasures. I loved Matthew, Alex, Robyn, and Cal, and the villains in the story were very well done. I look forward to more from the Matthew Connor Adventure series. Carolyn Arnold has created another winner.”

Jennly Reads

“The twists and turns, action and adventure, mystery and suspense, kept me on my toes. I thought this would happen, then it didn’t. I thought that would happen, then it didn’t. Carolyn Arnold does a good job of leading me down a familiar path, then jerking the rug out from under me.”

Fundinmental

“Queen of Mystery Thrillers, Carolyn Arnold has done it again with this totally engrossing, all-action epic adventure, worthy of H. Rider Haggard and Dan Brown at his best!”

Goodreads review

“A gripping story full of twists and turns.”

Yet another blogging mummy!

“Arnold has kept up on her excellent writing skills in this book as with the previous ones I have read and has also done a really good job of describing everything and the characters. One thing I really enjoy about Arnold’s work is that she does a really good job of researching her ideas and the genre she is writing in. This book is no exception to that and it is well thought out and informed.”

Nadaness In Motion!

“A thrilling and fun adventure that I recommend to anybody who loves the Indiana Jones movies and has always been intrigued by archaeological mysteries.”

Just Olga

“The detail in which the dig site, underground catacombs, burial chamber and subsequent riches were described made me feel as if I were standing next to Matthew and Cal as part of the team, Carolyn has a way of doing that so it was so easy to sit back in a chair and sink into the story.”

A Books Eternal Glory

“The Secret of the Lost Pharaoh is full of adventure and with that adventure is, of course, danger. It also has murder, mystery, and suspense. The characters are unique and interesting.”

Bound 4 Escape

“I had a good feeling about this book going in. What I didn’t expect was the nail biting suspense. If it’s not tunnels collapsing, it’s flooded chambers and lethal cobras. Not to mention others who might want what they uncover. I could picture this on the big screen. The darkness under the desert. The chill of opening hidden chambers. Being trapped with snakes all around you. No idea if help will come in time. Yep, it would be a great movie.”
